When Stamatis Moraitis, a native of Greece, was diagnosed with severe lung cancer in just his mid-60s, he was told he had just 9 months to live. In an amazing turn of events, however, Stamatis has managed to survive for over three decades – cancer-free.
Mr. Moraitis has credited his incredible health, even at the ripe old age of 98, to his diet. He keeps a garden, grows his own fresh, organic produce, and tends to his very own olive grove on a daily basis. You see, rather than undergoing toxic chemotherapy treatments for the 9 months of life his doctors estimated he’d have left, he chose to return to Greece and lead a simple, natural life that he could enjoy. By following a diet that primarily consisted of fresh, natural foods, leading an active lifestyle and filling his life with loved ones, Stamatis was able to heal his cancer.
